In 2018, I decided to expand my graphic design career by learning web design, and so enrolled in Case Western Reserve University’s 24-week Full-Stack Coding Bootcamp. I found I truly enjoyed the challenges and gratification of web development, so my intention of "upskilling" became instead a full-on career change when I joined the Columbus, OH branch of WillowTree Apps (formerly Dynamit.) Since then, I've continued my rapid growth of coding knowledge and implementation through a variety of client projects, attending meetups and conferences, and setting long and short-term goals for myself. I'm also passionate about increasing the number of under-represented groups in software engineering, and participate in college recruiting/networking events to answer future engineers' questions about working as a woman in tech.
